We ended up at the Coplen's a lot this weekend. Jessica had her first formal dance. After much dispute Jessica finally gave up her tennis shoes for nice shoes.

And Friday night we were honored guests of Jer's birthday party at Classic Skating. Kyle hates skating if you can't tell by his face:
But he did much better than the last time we went there. He stayed in the kiddy rink the whole time last time. This time he was so pro.

I hat skating as well. particularly when those zoobies steal your shoes!
I like skating! Not rollerblading, mind you, but SKATING. With Rollerskates. That's not even a word, anymore, sad. Happy B-day, Jeremy! And Jessica looks so grown up...not that she hasn't before, but I think there's always a difference when you bring an updo in the mix.
