HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!

Kyle turned 28 this week! How old!!! Jk. Wendy's family threw him a mini party tonight. Jessica made the most amazing cake for him. Something I will never be able to beat. And they got him an air soft gun since some wretched kid stole his from his car. It was really sweet and fun. The most memorable quote from the night was Jeremy telling Jess his great idea for when she gets a job: "Instead of putting the money in the cash register, you should put it in your pocket!"

FELIX

I had to share this. I love it so much. And Sarah's complaining motivated me to update my blog. I wanted to post the boyfriend I crocheted for Brit's graduation, but I can't get the picture off my phone, so I'll have to wait for Kim to email my the pic. But here is the thing that Kass made for my baby room. I am SOOOOOO excited about it. She made these monsters and they are to die for cute and the baby's name is the perfect balance of subtle and visible. I love love love it. Kass is so talented!

Kick

Today Felix was going crazy kicking the crap out of me, so I pushed him back with my hand on my belly. Then my hand totally moved as he kicked me back. I'm so excited because that means Kyle can feel it now!!!

Happy Birthday Keri!

I went to Seattle this weekend for Keri's birthday.
I only took pictures at the zoo, so enjoy!
This is Erik in his happiest moment. He was so excited to see the peacocks spread their wings. He had never seen it before this trip to the zoo.
We did do other stuff, like go to Goodwill and shopping. Which is where I finally tried on maternity pants and fell in love.
We also went out to eat a couple places. I got the most amazing pasta at Red Robin and the best tacos I've ever had in my life. I can't stop thinking about them and imagining how to recreate them.
We also played games, of course. And Keri was so upset that I didn't bring the rules to my new game up with me. Even if I hadn't lost the rules I probably wouldn't have brought them. I like having that power :)
We also watched the lamest movie ever. Whoever told us it was good is in trouble. It was "The Invention of Lying".
Taryn got pictures of her Disneyland trip from her neighbor. It was over 500 pictures printed out. This is how Taryn looked through them:
It was a fabulous trip, but way too short. I wish I could go every weekend. Or at least once a month. Anyone willing to fund that?
