Happy Birthday to Me!!!

I had an awesome birthday. Kyle took me to dinner Friday night to my second favorite Thai restaraunt. My first favorite is randomly closed so we couldn't go, but it was still great. He let me open two presents: a pair of earrings and a book of lists! What more could I want than a book that facilitates my obsession of lists? Before we left I manage to spill on my new pants, which I have done every time that I have worn those pants since I bought them.

Saturday we went boating and I got some great burn lines. But I forgot my camera, so no pictures, sorry! But I looked smoking hot, like Sarah said, I have a great rack. Sunday I got to go to church! Yeah! But then I got to nap and have dinner at my mom's. My mom put 25 candles in my cake! It was quite the hazard, but it made me really happy and I blew all the candles out in one try!

Thanks to everyone who contributed/participated in my birthday festivities. I loved it.

Happy Anniversary

Our anniversary was June 17th so the weekend after we went to Park City. We stayed in a hotel that we chose off of hotels.com based on the fact that it had a racquetball court. We disregarded all the negative comments on the website because of the r-ball court. Bad idea! It wasn't horrible, but the negative comments were not unfounded, as I pretended they were. It smelled like old people, there were random ants in the bath and bed, the shower head didn't work, and you actually had to pay to use r-ball court. But we didn't care. You stop noticing the old smell after being in the room a bit and the bath was so comfy it was great to use. And we had so much fun.
We played racquetball the first night and then watched Flight of the Conchords. I planned on just reading while Kyle watched it because I had seen a clip and was bored, but it was a fantastic show! Here's a clip. I had it on my camera where you could hear Kyle laughing, even though he was trying to hold it in because he knew I was recording. But my clip wouldn't upload, you should check the show out. Here's our favorite clip: http://youtube.com/watch?v=LtfQg4KkR88

Here's a bunch of the stuff we did. We went on the zipline first, which I was terrified to do. I hate riding ski lifts. All I think of, especially when I'm with Kyle, is how I'm going to fall off and get seriously hurt or die. I felt the same way on the zipline up until they let me go. After I started going I realized it was hardly scary at all and loved it.

We went to the outlets after the zipline and after Kyle got stung by a bee. He used a trick he got off some old people's blog and stuck a penny on the sting and after no more than 10 minutes the sting was completely gone.

The outlets were kind of a let down. Almost everything was just normal price. But Kyle did find two cheap shirts and I got a new swimsuit top from Tommy Hilfiger of all places for only $10!!!
The last thing we did before going to bed our last night was swim. Well, I swam and Kyle read one of Rainey's trashy werewolf novels! Just kidding. Rainey declared that I lost rights to mocking her novels because of the latest one that I reccommended to her...I totally didn't remember those nasty scenes though! I swear it. But Kyle's loving her werewolf book and will probably swear up and down it has nothing to do with the cover picture. After swimming we watched Gone Baby Gone, which disturbed Kyle a lot, but I still love it. It is really depressing and upsetting, but it's unendingly interesting. But we watched more Flight of the Conchords after to feel better. That show is fantastic.

Oh Dear

First of all, this book looks like a must read. But it also illustrates a horrible Father's Day mishap I had. Kyle and I were watching the Celtics/Lakers game with his parents and it was the 3rd quarter. I was kind of getting bored because basketball games are just too long. They should just have one half. So anyway, I took a quick nap. So I was enjoying my sleep since I had to get up early for church, but I was quite rudely interrupted...by myself. I had woken up to the sound of my own fart! I looked up at Kyle and he was glaring at me so I knew it was audible! I was mortified. But Kyle's family kindly pretended that it didn't happen. Even after I fell asleep and the whole thing happened again!
I did a little more research and the book sounds even greater. Here's a quote: "When an Elephant farts, the farts are really big. BAAROOMM!" And two people got knocked out by the gas.

My Brain is Almost Developed!

The only thing I can recall right now from my past 33 hours at school in the last 3 days is that at the age of 25 your brain is fully developed. So basically, what my teacher said is that personality is cemented in at 25. So I've now got less than 3 weeks to make any changes I need to. Any suggestions?
Another big announcement is that I am going to the dentist for the first check up in 3 years. I can't say first time, because we all remember that lovely fiasco. Here's a picture to jog your memory (not for children, trust me, Cole is just barely over seeing this).

So I'm proposing a contest. Everyone can guess how many cavities I'll have and the closest one wins! You can include root canals and absessed teeth if you like.

Skunky Girl

So this is my latest creation that I ripped off of a photo from Etsy. I had to make up the whole pattern. I went through three bodies and two sets of arms... So it's not perfect, but I like it.

ERROR

So I'm just learning this whole thing out. I guess I didn't finalize my listing. Here's my second try:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=12322672
But they said it may take 24 hours to appear. So be patient. But I just tried it out and it worked for me. Let me know.

Etsy

So I've done it. I listed my first creation on Etsy. Here's the link if you want to see it:
This is my etsy profile picture.
Kyle said it is a picture of him and me. I know all the horrors of my childhood nickname are rushing to all your heads, but I don't care. I think skunks are cute and I think I'm cute. Especially since Leisha cut my hair again today. Leisha is the best. I don't know what more I can say. She's always been a really good friend. She's honest. She's dependable. She's patient. And she's hella fun. I must say I'm glad she's not leaving. Not just for my hair's sake, but because she's a great girl. And not at all stinky.
