This was my morning at work today. I was with a client when the alarm went off and I reassured her that it was just a drill. I sent her home. Then my boss told me there was smoke upstairs and the ac was smoking, which was bad since the ac started a fire in that same place a few years ago. So three fire trucks, two ambulances, and an hour later we got to return to work. It was fantastic.

K. So I am all about getting out of work for whatever reason. And fire is definitely as good of a reason as any. Does that make me a sociopath?
No. I loved it!
that happened to us with a gas leak, but we all got to run in for 5 minutes, grab our purses and go home for the rest of the day! it was at like 10 am too!
That's scary but I agree with Rainey - at least it got you out of work :)
You should start another one while we're up there. Then we can go hang out!
