This is one of my new swimsuits. Mine is blue and I don't look this smoking hot, but you get the idea. After a horrible weekend this swimsuit combined with Leisha and water aerobics made me feel very happy. Not a lot of that happy spilled over into today, but some did and that's better than yesterday. Dexter helped a lot too (Dexter is a showtime show about a serial killer--and it's just about the best show ever!). Everyone should watch Dexter. And buy new swimsuits.

I was going to watch Dexter, because Rainey had said it was so good. I started the first episode, and then thought, I don't really need more scary in my life. Watching CSI makes me scared to go out in the world, and I don't need more of that, so I quit. But you guys enjoy.
And in case anyone was thinking of saying that's the same thing as not wanting to watch Hotel Rwanda, it's NOT THE SAME!
I thought the same thing when I started Dexter. I stopped watching it because it was scaring me, but Jeff got all mad at me so I started it again and after like 2 episodes I wasn't scared and it was just great. Give it another shot.
Uh...Keri, why would you even think that not wanting to watch something because it scares you, disturbs you, and yet it happens everyday is the same thing? Oh yeah...BECAUSE IT IS.

Telling the true story of someone who was murdered, so that the world can be aware of what happened and can learn from it, is one thing.
Telling about a make believe character who murders people night after night is another.
I'm not asking you to watch Hotel Rwanda, or any other movie like that every week so that the thoughts of these innocent victims haunts your dreams and makes you afraid to take the trash out.

YES!!!! Dexter is the greatest show EVER! I have to say as a person who watches both types of shows fictional or not, the non-fictional are much more disturbing and depressing. That's why I can't stand to watch the news.

I don't watch it purely because it's tv. Too much investment. Although, I have to say the real stories are better. I'll watch anything about a real serial killer. Even raising Jeffery Dommer, which was the dumbest movie I've ever seen.
Well, I don't know about the rest of you... but I only watch wholesome family movies like "The Butter Creme Gang." Awww... the thought of it just makes me smile inside.
