Kyle and I went to Utah Lake last Sunday on a drive. We walked out onto the lake and pretended it was scary...but really it was quite solid and quite shallow. But it was still really fun. Even when our butts were quite wet from sitting on the ice for a picture. Kyle's was much more wet than mine because I was setting up the camera.

Awwww, Utah lake is the best! Especially when it's not August and stinky. That trip sounds like the kind of thing where Ryan would jump up and down on the cracks and I'd just cover my face and scream and get really mad. I'm definitely a wuss.

You guys are brave. I hate going out on frozen lakes. I think it stems from my dad and grandfather making me go ice fishing during the Wyoming winters for like, four hour intervals. Suckage. Total Suckage. I'm sure it would be more fun without the fishing...and blowing wind/driving snow.
That's sweet. Frozen lakes remind me of all those stories in the scout magazines about saving people that fell through the ice. Remember, throw them a rope or a tree branch, don't go out there to pull them out.
I have read the book but I'm not sure i'm going to be here for the actual night if it is on the 27th. I think we're going to watch Dang race in St. George. It's a good book though - I really enjoyed it!
