I'll get to blogging about our actual lives with pictures and such sometime soon. I promise. But I've been reading a lot lately and think everyone should know that Bossypants (we listened to the audiobook) is the greatest thing ever. It was about Tina Fey's life and so hilarious. And not absurdly and unnecessarily gross like Sarah Silverman's. I loved it. I think everyone would love it! Even mom!
Insurgent is the book I just finished on my own. It is the sequel to Divergent, and they are YA distopia novels, and I LOVE them. They are fighting with Uglies for my number one YA book spot. And they are easy to read, you can't argue with that.
However, Fifty Shades of Grey got a big thumbs down. It is basically a porn novel, and those parts were well written, however, the rest of it was so boring. I haven't even finished it. And I probably won't, because there is basically no story line, which is bore bore boring.

Good to know. I won't bother with Grey then. Do you think Matthew would like Insurgent? He loves the Uglies.
Then he'd definitely love the Divergent series.
I loved Insurgent as well, I can't wait until the next one comes out.
So I tried a bit of 50 shades, and I was bored, too. It got to the point where I was just thinking, "Where's the sex? And though I'll admit I'm not the most well-read person, I knew that was bad. Even for me. So I went onto another series that I know and love. I've been wanting to read Bossypants, though. I will now check into it. I was wishy-washy before because Entertainment Weekly was pretty ambivalent about it. I've gotten to be too much like Jeff, depending on ET's reviews.
I read all 3 50 shades and loved them all - a little more plot would have been good but you cannot fault the sex scenes - very enlightning! Also, book 2 and 3 are a lot better.
