Goodbye Sweet Park

I don't know if this was actually our last time at the park by our old house, but it was nearly the last.

He was amazed with the throwing the water bottle in the air game Kyle played with him.

And this was one of Felix's first times on the big swing:

Grandma Janet made him this blanket, which he LOVES (when Kyle and I actually let him use it, cause it's really comfy).

Tuachan

We went to Tuachan with mom, dad, wendy and her kids this year. We didn't get off to a great start cause Kyle tried to back his car into the space for a speedy exit post-play, but this stupid tree crept up on him and now his car is rusting.

We were super excited for the play. The weather wasn't too hot yet and I thought Aladdin would be great.

But it was no where near as great as The Little Mermaid. And the genie was to die for annoying. We were all pretty disappointed and Justin was pissed that he got dragged to it :(

Happy Baby Rissa

This is my friend Rissa. She's having her first baby in September. She sadly moved to Missouri in July, but before she went we threw her a baby shower and took almost no pictures...sorry Rissa. (I can't believe there isn't even a picture of pin the sperm on the egg...or of my cohost Kendra!).

Swimming

This boy is a pro swimmer. I put floaties on him for the first time in February this year (in Vegas) and he was off. I didn't have to teach him anything. And if he could stay in the water 24 hours a day he would be happy.  But I don't let him, cause cuddling with him in the towel afterwards is my favorite part :)

Happy Birthday Kyle

 Kyle turned the big 3-0. I surprised him with a small cake gathering. He wouldn't allow me to throw a party, but I knew he'd approve of this. Even Jenny came, which was awesome.

Seattle May 2012

 This sums up our April. I actually can't remember anything about April, but this one of Kyle was the only one I took.

 Most of May was spent at home.

 But after our fake miscarriage (I'll post about later) me and Felix went up to Seattle.

 

It was a low key trip cause Kyle told me not to spend any money and I was horribly sick with baby and the flu. Felix got the flu too and puked all over Keri's couch...and the smell remains...as does my guilt.

 

 We spent a day at the creek. Felix saw the water and ran full force, then started sobbing when he realized how cold it was. But then he got over it and played.  He kept foiling Erik's attempts to trap fish in the vase.

 Felix stayed home with Keri one night so I could go to Taryn's concert. Not only is this girl super cute, she is super talented. On our last trip up there she couldn't get the clarinet to even make a noise and now she is amazing!

 Felix, Keri, Erik and I went to a children's museum one day. Felix was in love with every part of it.

 Except when his awful aunt didn't let him sit in other people's strollers.

 But as I said, most of our time was spent at home. It was a nice relaxing trip. And yes, I did sleep a lot, but it was the only thing to take the nausea away! Felix is in love with Keri's whole family.

However, when we drove up to our house after flying home he broke into the most maniacal glee I have ever seen when he saw our house and ran to the door!
